PROJECT: Positive Speakers Guide
Freelance / 2018

The Positive Speakers Guide was a resource created to help change current attitudes towards HIV. The guide looked at the lived experiences of people living with HIV by their shared stories. The guide was specifically designed for positive speakers and people working in HIV laws, policies and practices. The guide shared online freely though other HIV positive organisations.

Dr Susan Paxton

“Last year I decided to self-publish a manual for people who speak out in public to dispel myths about living with HIV. I had written it 20 years prior for APN+ (Asia Pacific Network of people living with HIV) and it had been so successful that it was translated into over a dozen languages, but it needed updating.

When Daniel Cordner heard of the project, he immediately volunteered his outstanding design skills. Working with Daniel was a delight. He provided proofs in an easily accessible form, was prompt and patient with the many changes I made, and provided me with the final copy very quick, in both web-ready and print-ready versions. I was delighted with the final product. The layout was simple and unique and has added the professional quality to the manual that makes me proud of this second edition of a valuable resource.”
