My passion is not only appreciation of the arts, but also the creation of art. The power of visual communication and the way we can share information and ideas will never fail to amaze me. My experience varies from digital and print, magazine design, government, corporate, not for profit, the arts, health and marketing. My skills range from art direction and design though to finished art.
In 2003, I worked at the Arts Centre Melbourne for 5 years, which gave me invaluable experience. The Arts Centre gave me a chance to indulge myself in the arts and fuel my passions. I worked on a range of print materials, which gave me experience of paper stocks and working with printers. Managing an internal design studio taught me organisational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
In 2015, I was senior graphic designer for the Australian launch of the international french fashion magazine L’Officiel. My role ranged from layouts, art direction, planning for future editions, training of interns, briefing photographers, and retouching.
Since 2010 I have been working as a freelance designer. Over the years I have worked with a wide clients from the arts to not for profits.
